Clairol has launched a campaign that encourages women to embrace grey hairs as just another one of life's milestones – like losing baby teeth or getting that first period.
The hair brand is launching a movement it's calling 'Face Your First' which seeks to remove the stigma from going grey.
To coincide with the campaign, the hair-dye company conducted a survey to find out exactly when modern women want to reach key life milestones. The findings revealed that women feel more pressure from friends than their mothers to reach certain milestones - with the average British female hoping to marry before 30 and secure their dream home by 32.
Recognising that British women, generally, have certain expectations of themselves and the things they feel they should achieve by certain ages - Clairol now wants to spread the message that there is no right or wrong age for these milestones to occur.
As such, the 'Face Your First' seeks to show there's no right or wrong way to deal with grey hair, just like there is no right or wrong time to settle down or land a dream job.
