Tiger Beer has created 20 editions of its bottles that are identifiable by landmarks in each of the districts it represents in Singapore.

The artwork on the bottle includes the heritage shop houses in Katong, the circular blocks of Ang Mo Kio and gentrified buildings in Tiong Bahru.

The Heineken Asia Pacific-owned brand previously created a vote in 2018 to let Singaporeans decide four neighbourhoods they wanted to see on a Tiger bottle. Bedok, Punggol, Jurong and Tampines emerged as favourites, garnering 6,690 out of the 10,000 votes cast.

Tiger also created a quiz on BuzzFeed as part of its marketing efforts to help Singaporeans identify which district in Singapore it identifies with.

“From local beer to celebrated global icon, Tiger has always been fiercely proud of our heritage as a local beer that is born in Singapore and brewed fresh in our backyard in Tuas,” said Faye Wee, the marketing director of Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore.

“No one knows the local flavours as we do and the Tiger district bottles are our way to rally Singapore together in celebration of what it means to be born in Singapore.”
