Pepsi Max has released a cinema-worthy ad starring Hollywood favourites Paul Rudd and Michael Peña as astronauts who demonstrate the great lengths they’ll go for a sip of the drink.
As the two space explorers prepare for a rocket launch and run through their pre-flight checklist, they realize they have forgotten critical cargo: a load of Pepsi Max. What ensues is a race against the clock, as the astronauts try to get their hands on the cola before blast-off.
Commenting on his experience shooting the new campaign, Rudd said “It was a total blast, pun intended, to don the Pepsi Max space suit and film this epic space shoot. To be able to do it with the hilarious Michael Peña made it an ‘out of this world’ experience.”
Pepsi worked alongside AMV BBDO to create 'No Can Left Behind', and the film was directed by Academy Award-nominated director, screenwriter and actor Taika Waititi, who is known for his work in both the superhero and comedy genres.
