EE has announced its pledge to provide NHS workers with unlimited mobile data until 9 October.
In a departure from his usual jovial delivery, Kevin Bacon greets the UK from his home in the US, thanking NHS workers on behalf of EE for all they are doing to support the country.
Bacon details simply how NHS workers can apply for the offer before closing with a message for the NHS: “we’re clapping for you, we’re rooting for you but most of all, we’re thankful for you”.

Since Covid-19 started, the activity of many brands has been significantly altered. One sector that is being affected is automotive. Brands are investing less on traditional advertising, while some are going completely dark. 
Honda UAE together with Memac Ogilvy Dubai found a way to craft the ad doing everything from home (written, directed, edited and watched), relating it back to #StayHome and using the Honda Civic.
Honda used a full-scale miniature car. The camera shots managed to fool the eye so that at all times you feel like you're watching a real car commercial.

The past six weeks have turned the world upside down and forced changes in consumer behavior as people seek out how to create a new normal amid a global health crisis that has kept most people at home
Pinterest has reported record usage and engagement around the world. The blog reveals searches on Pinterest are up 55% vs. the same time last year, helping Pinners find inspiration on billions of queries. New board creation is also up, by nearly 45%.
The platform has also launched wellbeing.pinterest.com, which pulls relevant exercises from compassionate search. Pinterest created the new page because of a rise in searches like “stress relief” and “stress quotes,” which tripled shortly after the pandemic hit the US. These curated, guided activities were created with the help of emotional health experts at Brainstorm, the Stanford Lab for Mental Health Innovation, and with advice from Vibrant Emotional Health and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

When Panera wanted to highlight its delivery service as an option through which homebound customers might still get fresh food, it wanted to show the human side of delivery. 
Faced with limited production capabilities caused by the coronavirus, Goodby Silverstein & Partners came up with an idea: have the drivers shoot the commercials themselves.
Largely unscripted and shot entirely on drivers’ smartphones, these heartfelt editorials feature drivers offering words of encouragement like these: “Stay safe. Stay inside. And I’ll bring dinner for you.” Set to emotional music and mixed with driving footage shot through drivers’ windshields, the videos present a personal message of hope from a group of professionals who are often ignored.

: 'Bringing Us Closer'

To broadcast the BBC's integral role as a public service broadcaster in this time of national crisis, BBC Creative has pulled together an evocative montage to say 'together we'll get through.'
While we might be keeping our distances from loved ones during lockdown, the spot shares the various ways the BBC is helping people create shared experiences.
A montage of real footage, captured over the course of recent weeks, is accompanied by the voice of Iris Elba reads, who reads Edgar Guests’ poem ‘Don’t Quit.’  
The clips capture BBC news broadcasts, empty supermarket shelves, deserted streets and personal videos of the NHS frontline, inserted within footage of viral content, including the ‘clap for NHS carers,’ and Llandudno’s rogue goats.
The spot concludes by reiterating the title of the poem Elba reads, reminding viewers that despite all the hardship, “we must not quit” as “together, we’ll get through.”

Next up on brands creating ads from home, Apple has captured how people are using its products to stay creative during the Covid-19 pandemic.
To show that despite the lockdown, ‘Creativity Goes On’ – the film montages footage of people keeping creativity alive; whether it be drawing pictures on iPads, producing video content on Macbooks or using FaceTime to share creative ideas.
Created over the course of two weeks, the film is interspersed with celebrities including John Kransinski working on an episode of his YouTube show #SomeGoodNews, Oprah Winfrey addressing #OprahTalks viewers on Apple TV+ with words of support and the actress Lily James taking part in the #SaveWithStories children’s book initiative with her iPad.

Everyone knows that you simply can’t resist a pack of Doritos. From the moment you crack a pack open till you see the last crumb, less than a minute will go by for the entire pack to be downed and forgotten. So what do you do in times of Corona when you’re in self isolation and the next grocery delivery isn’t for another two weeks? The answer: self-mastery and rationing – to make the last crumb last.

: 'Stay Home of the Whopper'

An apt take on its iconic tagline, ‘Stay Home of the Whopper’ is a call to arms for burger fans to remain at home to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19 while highlighting Burger King's support for healthcare professionals.
Referring to fans who remain inside as 'couch po-ta-triots,' the spot, created by FCB,  seeks to galvanise Burger King customers to do their part to save their community by having their food delivered directly to them, instead of venturing outside. To encourage those to do so, it is waiving all delivery fees on orders over $10 through its mobile app. 
Alluding to the wartime ad, the spot opens with a voiceover stating: "Your country needs you... to stay on your couch and order in" while a man lazes on the sofa.
"Do your part and we’ll do ours. Order through the Burger King app and the delivery fees are on us. So staying home doesn’t just make us all safer, it makes you a couch po-ta-triots," the voiceover continues.
As part of the campaign, to salute those on the frontline fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, Burger King is giving away 250,000 Whopper sandwiches to nurses.
The American Nurses Foundation will distribute codes for nurses to order Whopper Sandwiches for free through the BK mobile app. It is also collecting money for the charity, asking its fans to text ‘THANKS’ to a hotline to make a one-time $10 donation directly to the American Nurses Foundation Coronavirus Response Fund.

: 'Let It Not Tempt You'

Despite the beautiful weather and empty roads, Porsche has created a movie overnight, alongside and a series of graphics to encourage viewers to leave their Porsche at home.
Based on existing materials, the campaign encourages Porsche owners to share photos of their cars parked in garages on social media.
In this way, DDB Warsaw was able to make sure that they comply with all safety recommendations.
Porsche owners from all over Poland joined the action, among them some Pilish celebrities:  Piotr Kędzierski, Patryk Mikiciuk and Kuba Wojewódzki, arousing the interest of the press and fans.
