Nightclub outlet Ce La Vi has given its logo a makeover based on its signature red umbrellas in each of its locations.
The nightclub currently has clubs in Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, with more soon to be open in Shanghai, Tokyo, Dubai, Taipei, and Colombo. It usually chooses roof-top locations for its clubs in each city.
The new logo, created by Jones Knowles Ritchie, are illustrations of each city location that the club is in, to represent the landmarks and culture. According to the agency, the illustration is meant to capture the spirit of the destination it represents.
The new logo will be used on printed collateral, in Ce La Vi’s bars and restaurants, as well as signage, uniforms, table settings and digital touchpoints.
“The re-brand was a crucial project for us and critical to the business success as part of our global expansion strategy,” explained Aine Dempsey, the group marketing director at Ce La Vi.
“JKR excelled in unearthing the nuances and intricacies of the brand which resulted in a clear brand vision and design system for CÉ LA VI that deeply resonates with our audience both on a local and global scale.”
